HOMEWORK UPDATES
Dear Families and Guardians,
Our second grade team has been focused on working with your
children to increase their confidence and fluency in reading and math skills by
using our Earl Boyles Portaportal. For those who feel that the weekly homework
assignments are a struggle or not challenging enough the ebportaportal is a
great option, please encourage your child to continue writing a paragraph each week in there homework binders.
Parents have been asking for additional activities for their
children to do at home to support foundational skills, as well as for those
students who need more challenging work as they master the second grade
curriculum.

Once you are on our website go to the Teachers Blog’s and Portaportal, then go to our Second Grade Portaportal. At this point
your child will know where to go and practice on their reading, and math skills.
This website is always an option for more practice and
supplemental work. It is always a great idea to have your child practice their
keyboarding skills, as well!
Please note, your child should know their passwords, but if
they can’t remember please let us know and we will provide them for you.
